The empowerment group is secular and focuses on personal development and peer support, free from any religious or spiritual indoctrination.
Myth: "My child is sociable and has friends; she doesn't need groups."
Even sociable children can benefit from empowerment groups by further developing their communication skills, empathy, and ability to support others, enhancing their overall social competence.
Myth: "Parents have no more influence on their kids at this stage to engage in group activities."
Parents play a crucial role in encouraging and supporting their children's participation in enriching activities. Empowerment groups provide a structured environment where girls can thrive with their parents' encouragement.
